Elegant Silver Checkered Scarf

Absoutely iconic vintage silver checkered 100% silk scarf by Lanvin. This was from a silk collector, this box was opened recently by me, archiving many iconic designer pieces. This box was put away in 1978, but that said I cannot seem to date this piece further than that. Lanvin has carried checkered patterns through their designs for many decades. The silk is premium, and the one seam is a hidden seam which is incredible hard to do with silk. The quality is top notch, so my guess would be in between 1960-1970. It’s impeccable considering. No brooch holes, pin holes, rips, stains, smells. It has been carefully stored for many years. Ready to be enjoyed. The pattern is luxury.
