Elgin 1950 607 "Bumper"

This Elgin was produced 1950-1951. In 1952 they made a similar model but the dial was changed a little by adding thin black line between the triangle two tone silver patterns. The 607 movement was the first USA manufactured automatic. The Elgin Co. made two watches with this movement from 1950-1952. In 1953 Elgin stops using 607 movements and started importing A Schild full rotor autowind movements. Please check photo for details description. Including extra watch band
