( colour shows differently in listing photos but they are all a nice creamy white) Deep hues of magenta and wine color this autumn floral medley. A wild rose that "reddens in the bog" is delicately arranged with asters, fringed gentians, blue bells, and the prickly burdock ". . . (that) clawed my gown." The central seasonal quote is green, the corner quotes are wine color, and the leaf border is crimson. "There's a certain Slant of light . . ." is the seasonal text and theme of this painting where a large yellow-green dandelion and a puffball slant across a bouquet of hemlock, dripping fuchsias, and a geranium. The central text, lettered in green, also shimmers in the slanting light. The corner texts are dark blue with a wine border.
