Empoli Amber Optic Spiral Stemmed Pedestal Compote Vase - VTG MCM Italian Glass

Beautiful vintage tall spiral stem Empoli compote, produced in Italy circa 1960’s. This beautiful hand blown vase displays a swirl optic pattern in a gorgeous gold-amber-brown colour. As this piece is hand crafted, there are very slight manufacturing marks. Lovely statement piece displayed on a mantle or as a centrepiece with either flowers or a pillar candle holder! Excellent condition; no chips, cracks, repairs, etc. however there are manufacturing bubbles and a piece of folded glass along the rim, as seen Measurements: 12 1/4” inches height x 3 5/8” inches diameter x 4 5/8” inches base diameter Vintage glass often has small flaws such as air bubbles/manufacturing flaws and/or signs of use. These do not affect the integrity of the glass but is something to be mindful of when purchasing. All “flaws” are noted.
