This is a lion-handled pewter tankard from Sheffield, England with two sets of engraved lines/stripes near the top and bottom. Volume: One pint Approximate measurements: Height: 5 " Inside rim: 3.25" Bottom 4" The lion stick out about 1.75" from the cup Markings: "English Pewter Sheffield" Says something else on there as well that I cant make out. Pinder Bros? Features a lion lifting its right paw toward the sky (your thumb fits the paw perfectly!)
