A rare find, this oxblood red leather crossbody bag by legendary designer Etienne Aigner is the essence of quiet luxury.
This small crossbody bag is actually quite roomy: inside the main compartment there is one zippered pocket and two small, open pockets; outside the main compartment, there is a small zippered pocket in the front, and a larger zippered pocket on the back. A double-sided card holder is attached to the inside of the bag, making it easy to reach for your ID/cards, while also keeping them safe.
This piece made of genuine leather, and is fully lined with stripped pattern in plum, teal and brown. The chunky gold hardware creates a rich finish.
Measures 9” (23cm) long X 7” (18cm) high X 1” (2.5cm) wide; the strap is 50” (127cm) from end-to-end, and hangs 24” (61”) down
As noted on the Etienne Aigner website, “In the 1930s, Hungarian-born Etienne Aigner celebrated his first successes as a bag designer at the Paris Haute Couture shows. In the 1950s, he presented his own collection in New York. For the first time, this collection had the typical "A" in the shape of a horseshoe - from there it went on to Munich. Here, Etienne Aigner met Heiner H. Rankl, a businessman with an unerring feeling for the future and a sense of tradition. And so, the cult brand AIGNER was born in Munich in 1965. Over the years, the label has evolved into an international luxury brand that has fans all over the world."
