Exotic 925 sterling silver Medieval style ring with large purple amethyst stone

Exotic handmade sterling silver filigree statement ring. With princess cut purple stone that looks like amethyst, but can't say for sure. It is very transparent inside, can't see any major inclusions. So could be a lab grown crystal. Size 5.5. In excellent condition. Stamped 925. The display box is not included.
