willowbayfg Hi, I've had bones in the sides of bras before and they are really hard. This bra has a bendable plastic rectangular piece (1 ⅜ x 4 ¼ inches) on each side, covered with nylon in purple and the bottom of the stays are on the insides of the bottom bands so the bottoms don't touch your skin.
