pippalotta @holliejeant it wasn't like "the fair" carny... I just traveled around to all the bike rallies for 6 years. It was a carnival of bikes and freaks! And no I wasn't afraid, I was fearless back then :]] After the first few rallies it was like a second family. Bikers actually have a bad rap. They are hardcore but it's mostly about following their rules. Not necessarily society's rules but definitely a creed that's about respect and common decency.

pippalotta @holliejeant exactly. I did that for 6 years. I never witnessed any RICO type stuff but we were a family that looked after each other and had each others backs. Nobody stole from us without getting caught and punished. Sometimes the police would just block the crowd while thieves got served biker justice. Like the law just let us handle it... But mostly it was just good times and making lots of money.
