Fabulous de Passille Sylvestre belt & buckle (size small)

My friends keep offering up great vintage pieces for sale! Quebec artisans Micheline de Passillé and Yves Sylvestre produced some of the most bold and distinctive modernist enamel jewelry and accessories of the 1960's and 1970's. DPS pieces were given by the Canadian and Quebec governments to such visitors as Madame Charles de Gaulle and Princess Grace of Monaco! This leather belt and abstract buckle are a very deep green, that appears black in some lights. The design and frame of the buckle are a slightly golden silver. The buckle is 2 X 1-3/4 inches. The signature is somewhat hidden under the hardware on the back.The belt is an inch wide and 31 inches long. The six holes will fit a waist of between 24 and 28 inches. Everything is in great shape!
