Faux silk vibrant satiny “paisley collage of living colours” shirt vintage

All year round wear! It was part of a designer set purchased in Paris (the skirt had the same colours but it was block coloured). Casual or special, depending on how you accessorize it. Will go well with an infinity of colours. Relaxed fit. Could be worn as oversized or inside your skirt or pants or you could tie it to make it a cropped top because satin offers a beautiful drapé naturally. Colours shines like leaves touched by the filtering light of a sunset in a forest: you can see that, on some pictures taken near a window, where the natural light at dusk touches the top of the shirt! The pattern is parsley-like but it is subtle. I was unable to catch, on camera, the beauty of this blouse. It is much nicer « in person »Hues vary with the light: pictures are taken from studio, natural and a mix of exposures From the 1980's: the collar and the padded shoulders are typical of that era. Buttons match the spirit of the blouse with their green & golden halo! Fabric is soft, like a night gown, it feels and looks like satin (shiny): probably polyester. Although there is no longer a label, you will see from the design & refined workmanship (couture and the cut), that this is a unique and quality top.
