Filson offers a lifetime warranty, so if you live near one of their stores, they can accept the item and send it out for repair. Alternatively, you may take it to a qualified leather specialist for repair. The newer version does not compare to the older version. The canvas on this piece is slightly sturdier and has aged exceptionally well. The bag strap is brand new.
