Fine Bone China Hexagon Cup Melba Art Deco 1907-1941

This antique octagonal bowl is looking for a new owner. Unfortunately, it has some losses, so it would be better for a collection. The most noticeable drawback is a small gap at the border (seen in the penultimate photo). Other defects are also near the border, but they are almost invisible. The bowl is made of bone china by Melba, England and has a registration number. The markings you can see in the last photo were used by Melba from 1907 to 1941. The cup is white with black trim around the edge and bottom. On the front side, there is a hand-painted butterfly and an exotic flower, on the opposite side, the same flower. Red dots on the flower and wings of the butterfly are embossed to the touch. Maximum bowl capacity approx 5 oz (175 ml), height 2" (5 cm), diameter varies from 3 1/4" (8.3 cm) from side to side of the octagon, to 3 1/2" (9 cm) from corner to corner.
