Rare handcrafted oval cut heron pendant by Kwagiulth artist Carey Newman. Done in sterling silver and measuring 1.75” x 1”. The pendant is from Artina’s jewelry in Victoria BC, the chain is not sold with the pendant which is currently not available but sells for $300 plus tax. This piece is in excellent condition, a stunning piece of art. The chain is sterling silver, 16” in length and a beautiful square design. Carey Newman is a Kwagiulth artist born February 15, 1975. Under the influence and support of his mother and father, Kari developed his artistic ability and cultural knowledge from an early age. Artistry is in his blood, his father, Victor, his great grandfather, Charlie, James, and his great aunt Ellen Neel are all renownedwood carvers.
