Folk Art Carved Lamp by Amede Godro Quebecois Art

A wooden accent lamp carved by Amede Godro in Quebec during the 1970s. Still in working order, the piece has an older couple sitting in front of an old style stove while their dog lies between them. A kettle sits atop the stove and it is detailed down to the bricks in the chimney. Mr. Godro's son is still in the craft (or was 11 years ago) though Mr. Godro has long since retired. The lamp is 16" tall, the shade is 10 1/4" wide and the stand is 9" across.
