Gorgeous Large Paul Caron (PE Caron) Basswood Quebec Folk Art Wood Carving. Large size at 13 1/2 inches (34 cm) tall, Base is 5 3/4 in. by 4 in. by 1 5/8 in. Basswood with Beeswax Finish. Vintage circa Mid-1960s to 1970s. Beautiful Caramel-coloured Patina. Red felt-covered Base (probably a location stamp underneath). The Piece has been Signed with a Carving Knife, not by Dremel or Engraver (in other words, by hand). 13.5" tall. Extremely Nice Condition, Caramel-coloured Patina, one small chip to Hat, see photos.
