Food of the Vikings Greeting Cards With Recipes By Peter Nielsen

Quality cards with motifs of the Vikings' food illustrated by Peter Nielsen. The Vikings' meals were preferably prepared over open fireplaces or in clay ovens. The raw materials themselves cultivated many, and they went hunting, fishing and collecting nature's plants and fruits. The card folder contains 8 double cards with matching envelopes.The motifs on the cards are: Herb buns Trout Soup Wheat porridge Viking Stew Lamb rolls Lamb Cabbage Buttermilk Cheese Wheat grain bread The fine illustrations are designed by Peter Nielsen, author, artist, graphic designer and subject teacher at Design Seminar in Højer 1997-2002. He has had a studio at Ærø from 2003. His main emphasis is on visual and illustrative, which is seen in biological textbooks, instructional manuals and for decorations. The cards are printed at a Swan-labeled company and made from environmentally certified FSC paper. The envelopes are made of eco-friendly eucalyptus paper.
