It doesn't say "waterproof" on the tag so I can't technically call it waterproof in my listing but it is certainly a rain jacket that you would put on if it started raining while you are golfing so I would feel comfortable calling it "water repellent" rather than "waterproof". It's from the "dryjoys" line so it is meant to be used in bad weather. Hate to be technical but I'm just protecting myself from returns and complaints.
