Forbes Meriden Britannia Scalloped Silver Plate Open Compote Pedestal Candy Dish Bon Bon Pierced Rim Footed Dish Marked “Forbes Plate” with the eagle head logo, which was used until 1935. Also marked "lead mounts". This is a small, shallow, silver plated copper open compote or candy dish with pierced scalloped rim and scroll design. There is a small round indent in the centre of the dish. CONDITION: Shows significant scratching from use/age, and minor pitting near the middle. Please view all photos for details.
