Formal 19th century retro-metallic burgundy long skirt with train-vintage (1990)

Formal Semi-formal Burgundy is the new neutral color according to fashionistas! Long skirt w/a unique effect: at the front it looks like a long pencil skirt but at the back, w/its train, it spells retro elegance & originality. The metallic «moiré» in the fabric,defined by the mix of burgundy & black, gives it light and movement. The fabric is naturally crinkled & is a bit like taffeta. Retro: loosely inspired fr/fashion towards the end of the 19th century when trains were popular. Also Schiaparelli designer did some similar skirt lines in the 1920-1930's. Duplicate pictures are to show that hue much vary with light (because of the metallic shine) which makes the shirt more interesting. Closes with zipper at the back. Fully lined except in the area where waist was enlarged. It was professionally modified at the waist to make it longer by wearing it lower towards the hips. In the process, the labels were lost. Purchased in early 1990’s. Fabric feels like polyester. So is the lining.
