Offered is a set of four (4) demitasse cups and saucers in white ironstone, made by KRUPS and inspired by Frank LLoyd Wright's design of the Guggenheim Museum in New York, They have concentric white raised bands, reminiscent of the museum and of other modernistic designs by Mr. Wright Made in 1998 and sold by the Guggenheim in its Museum store These sets by KRUPS were available to other retailers, but became known almost exclusively as a Guggenheim offering The KRUPS design has been discontinued, so the cups and saucers have become collectibles
