Black suede tall moto boot by luxury fashion shoe maker Free Lance Paris, a France-based company that had stores in Paris, known amongst Europeans for their high-end shoes and boots. Made in the EU. If you know, you know -- their shoes are made to a very high, consistent standard. This style, the "Biker 7" is one that they reinterpreted year after year with different details. All style/website photos depict the actual Free Lance biker boot from different years. This version is in black suede with brass hardware. Beautiful, comfortable.
Retails for $1300-$1500 CAD after taxes/fees. Marked 38.5, fit like North American 8.5 (as is typical of FL sizing).
Leather upper/lining/sole. Goodyear welted so that soles can be replaced in perpetuity. An investment that will last a life time.
Gorgeous suede -- feels like calf suede. Thick and rich with a dense nap. Colour is deep, inky black. Photos are fairly accurate for colour.
Evaluation of condition:
-heels/soles in very good shape, lots of tread left on heel. Wood-stacked heel is dark and glossy black. See photos.
-subtle/minimal marks on suede. Look like they've been worn a dozen times or less. Happy to provide more photos if needed.
-buckles in great shape, adjustable
-the "dots" across the ankle in photos 5 & 6 are just light filtering through the kitchen blinds, not actual marks on suede
Smoke-free, pet-free home. **tagged "Frye" for listing exposure -- brand is Free Lance.

so pretty! I have super skinny calves, without much shape, how are they suited to thin straight legs, or are they for a wider or more athletic calf? could you measure the opening circumference please? thank you sooooo much!

sorry, also are they an all season boot, or strictly fall winter?

@babyb69 hi there! I have pretty skinny calves and I’m a fan of this brand because the calf tends to be narrow to average in width. I can get a circumference for you tomorrow, no problem. The boots aren’t lined with thinsulate or insulation, so they can be worn year-round. I tend to avoid wearing suede/leather in the depths of winter because the salt on streets/sidewalks can ruin the skin.

@joleneklassen @babyb69 I'm very sorry for the delay, I meant to get these measurements immediately and then forget because I neglected to put it on my to-do list. The boots have a buckle at top allowing for some adjustment. At their smallest, circumference is 14 1/4", at widest, they're 15 3/8". Shaft height is 15 3/4" at rear, 16" on inside, and 16 1/2" on outside. Inside and outside shaft measurements are taller because the point at which suede meets sole is slightly lower.
