@maggiejjenkins Hi, these are cotton. They have a smocked elastic waist so they have a fair amount of flexibility in fit. I can get you maximum dimensions when I head back to storage. Also, I will be dropping the price of these pants significantly as they do have some wear on the inner thighs. Best, Erin
