French black silk sculptural cocoon dress, US 6, NWOT

Asymmetrical, sculptural cocoon dress by Gustavo Lins Atelier Paris in black silk, size 2 (US 6). Sculpted asymmetrical high neck, center pleat in the back, long jersey sleeves with cuffs. The right side drapes artfully from shoulder down. The body is made from 94% silk, 6% elastane, lined in 100% cupro. It has a nice weight to it -- falls beautifully. Both the body and the sleeves have some stretch to them. The designer started as an architect before turning to fashion (and that shows in his designs!). He worked with Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, John Galliano, Kenzo, Louis Vuitton, Gaultier, and others. I bought it from ModeWalk probably around 2008-10 for $1,200 and never had a chance to wear it. The dress is in mint condition, but please note that the right shoulder seem is separating close to neckline (see photo). Made in France. For reference, I'm 174 cm tall.
