Fused Glass | oval Challah platter 15 inches long

I am pretty sure this is a Challah platter. With the metallic colors as part of the design, this platter looks different under different lighting conditions. Fused Glass is an old glass technique. Sheets of glass are designed, cut, then there's some grinding and sandblasting involved. There's an imperfection from the process (looks like a line on the background part of the plate) The type is some kind of transfer method. There's some wear on the type from normal use. Based on style (houses, treatment of the type), the use of metallics, dimensions of similar works most likely this is the work of the late Israeli / American artist Tamara Baskin. Her family has continued her legacy by continuing to produce her designs. I have a round Seder platter listed and a square Matzah tray to list. Thanks.
