GAP Slim Fit Khaki Pants

These 'slim fit' pants by GAP are made of a cotton/elastane blend (97/3) and are a light brown khaki tone. The pants are fairly new with little wear, but they appear to have been hemmed - I will expand on this in the measurements. The pants have a button and zipper front, standard belt loops, 2 chino-style front pockets (with a secret right-side pocket, see pic 4), and 2 back buttoned pockets. There are a few reasons I believe these pants are hemmed. The inseam measurement is too short, the bottoms of the pants feel like they've been flipped up, and I don't think Gap does 2-tone stitches like this (see last picture). I can't tell if any length has been taken off without undoing the hem, but it is definitely folded right above the (new), suggesting it should be reversible. These pants are marked as a size 38W-32L. Please use these approximate flat lay measurements to ensure the best fit, keeping in mind that these measurements reflect the pants are they are now (hemmed), not as they "should" be: Waist: 20" (closer to size 39/40 than 38) Hips: 23.75" Inseam: 28" (should be 32") Total length (hip to ankle): 38" Rise: 11.5" Width of hemmed cuff (as is): 1 3/8" Love the piece but not the price?
