GAP World Standard Vintage 90s Y2K Reverse Fit 29" Jeans | Spring | Summer

In 1997, Gap began "dating" all of their clothing with little white tags which typically appear somewhere inside the garment. I've never seen anything dated any earlier than this, and very rarely have I seen 1997 in an item. Why mention this? Because these Gap World Standard Jeans have no date. And judging from the font on the logo tag and the style in general, I would say that it's PRE-1997, or close to it and the quality shows. There isn't a ton of information online about the Gap World line of jeans. When this style was popular the Internet was in its infancy and talking about a particular kind of jeans might have been popular in private groups, but not a ton of that information has really survived. I'm not trying to hide anything - I don't know much about this little subsection of Gap denim. Reverse fit jeans are fitted at the natural waist (not dropped waist-line) The leg starts to fill out as they hit the hip, with the widest point on the leg being just above the knee. The shape of the leg then starts to taper back in The jeans are tagged as a vintage 14 Ankle, but when measured are almost a perfect 29".
