Front slit opening at the bottom is 8 inches. Gorgeous and flattering pencil style fit perfect for casual with sneakers or dressing up with a pair of heals. Great used condition, zoom in for tiny fray mark on the front above the slit, barely there, and noticed when wearing, but wanted to point out.
