Signed Gervais vintage abstract modernist gold tone metal and green enamel brooch & earring set. Made in Canada. Both the earrings and the brooch are stamped on the back Made in Canada and the artist Gervais. The brooch has a secure locking safety clasp closure for fastening. Beautiful set. Excellent vintage condition. Robert Gervais created bright, colourful enamelled jewellery in much the same style as his contemporaries, the Canadian couple de Passillé-Sylvestre. His refined designs tend to show more attentuated lines and are almost excusively abstract.
