GIBSON BOOKS - GIBSON GIRLS style Two books*, complete hardcover albums, reproducing the original illustrations of C. D. Gibson's drawings and caricatures. Here is a set of two magnificent books which bring together 11 volumes here reissued in 1906. The two books are illuminated with gilding on two of the three sides of the pages. Printed in the U.S. by Editions Charles Scribners's sons R.H Russel, NY. Dimensions: 17.5'' X 11.5'' X 1.25''. Both objects are in excellent condition and perfectly illustrate the fashion of the end of the Ice century and the beginning of the XX century. The “Gibson Girl” is an idealized figure of the modern, social American woman. *2 BOOKS to be sold separately because together, they weight 13 lbs (6 kg) and Poshmark do not allow more than 5 kg for upgraded delivery labels.

stephaniephanie Hello! It's a re-edition from 1906. Both album are note paged with numbers (1,2,3,...) But, both volumes are thick as 1/14''. (+/- 200 sheets makes +/- 400 printed pages for each volume).

stephaniephanie Dear Cormorants, you will see I did have to change the listing following your question. I did weight the books and realized they are heavy. Then, I have to sell the books in 2 different lot since Poshmark does not allow shipping label for packages over 5 kg. So, pricing has dropped in reference of one book only.
