A pack of vintage (antique?) carbon paper from the Government. The box is rather fragile and flakes pieces, it has a fold [seen in pictures]. The box reads: “Government of Canada "CARBON PAPER" For the Typewriter INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING USE OF CARBON PAPER "Carbon Paper," in its several weights, is especially adapted for the particular purposes mentioned in the list given below. It will be found absolutely reliable when applied with the operators judgment, in the weight and thickness of paper specified below. LIGHT WEIGHT CARBON PAPER "Light Weight or Four Pound" should be used only when a great number of copies are required at one operation. It will give a clean cut impression of the characters. It is absolutely essential where the highest grade of neat copying work is demanded. MEDIUM WEIGHT CARBON PAPER “Medium Weight or Five Pound” adapted for the making of [... unintelligible...] copies, and built for hard service in legal and commercial work. STANDARD WEIGHT CARBON PAPER "Standard Weight or Seven Pound" is manufactured for general commercial work where clear impressions are essential, when one to three copies are requited. The "Seven Pound" is of the regulation weight, but has unusual durability and will stand rough handling. It is therefore more economical for single copy work.
