gymmate_hip Is the measurement across one side of the waistband 16" or 17"?

1purplecactus @gymmate_hip Hi! The inseam is apparently 32 inches and the waist measured flat approximately 16.5 inches. Please see added picture of flat waist.

gymmate_hip Thanks. It appears from the tag the jeans are about 98% cotton and about 2% lycra. Is there some stretch in the jeans overall and some stretch in the waistband? Looks like they are getting very close to 17" waistband, which is good, and stretch might make them a better waist fit.

gymmate_hip Forgot to ask, are these a button or zipper fly? What is the approx rise of the jeans (top of waist to centre crotch )? Would you say they are a medium or low rise style?

1purplecactus @gymmate_hip Hi! Yes, there’s a bit of stretch to the jeans overall, including some give in the waistband. With 2% Lycra, they have a nice moderate stretch — enough to move comfortably and offer some flexibility at the waist, while still holding their shape like classic denim. The waistband stretches slightly past the flat 16.5”, getting close to 17” when gently pulled.
