In the Fall of 1998 I was excited to see that even the preppy mall store The Gap had embraced rave culture, even a little, by selling face & body shimmer in a tube. Not being particularly adventurous person when it comes to decorating my face and hair, I thought maybe it might be fun to try. I wore it exactly once ~ to a Blockbuster Video Holiday Christmas Party in December, 1998. I felt self-conscious and ridiculous the whole night, and I never used it again.
