Gorgeous, clearly vintage, set. Proudly featuring a romantic design of a pair of lovers in a garden, reminiscent of a Fragonard painting. Marvelous mauve liberally decorated with gold gilt. Fancy handle. Molded rim on the saucer and teacup foot are both lavishly decorated with brushed gold gilt. Made in Japan. Silver sticker says (really a challenge to decipher) KMart Canada The teacup stands 2.75" high and measures 3.25" across the rim. The saucer measures 5.5" across the rim. Wear, particularly on the rims, rubbing, scratches, marks consistent with normal usage. No nicks, chips, cracks or crazing.
