Does it have room underneath for thicker sweaters or fits tighter I find I usually have to go up a size in Guess jackets to have a smidge more room

@amb8383 hi sorry for the very late response. There will be some room depending on your body time. When i used to wear i wear this with thick sweaters for layering, just wont fit me anymore after childbirth. Let me know if you inquire more information.
