Genuine 1960’s High Collar Tunic Dress in Bubblegum Pink

Hand made in Canada by Algo Fashion Creations. Has a union label but no content label so I'm quite confident it's from the mid to late 60's. What a find!! The pics dont capture the colours in the "bead work" around the collar. There's pinks and purples that the camera couldn't catch. The reason I put quotes around "bead work" is that I dont think these are beads...I believe it's a material woven to look like beads....and it's all hand done. Just incredible. The collar and the self covered buttons are all in perfect shape. There are some tiny 'holes' on the side seam, at the hem and one on the front left side panel....I attached close up pics of them. The reason I put quotes around "holes" is that none of them go all the way through the fabric! (Note: I found one that goes all the way through on the left side, the rest are just hole indents). The ones on the hem are easily fixed by hemming the dress shorter. And the ones on the side could be eliminated if you take it in at the waist 1/4". The fabric from hemming could be used to mend the other flaws. But I actually dont think they are very noticeable. As you can see from the long shot pics, you cant see they are there. In Toronto an invisible mender like Cheeseworth could do the work to restore this gem. Pit to pit 20" Shoulder to shoulder: 15" Waist at slimmest point: 15" Length from Shoulder to hem: 36"
