j7jana @knackofmix Very unique I there is not gaps between and the drilling would of the pearls would have to be specialized for this type of strand. I also found out how hard it was to photograph pearls the have a slight warm white with nacre my camera kept wanting to over expose. After several adjustments, some colourful metaphors and a bit of wine, I had some turn out. I am okay with these but I still don't think I did the nacre of the pearls as much justice as they deserve. :)

knackofmix Good evening! I can see that you tend to be perfectionist like me!!!! I can spend an hour to take and select pictures for a $20 asking price item. I do it because I enjoy it …if I would count my time, I probably make less than $1 per hour To get back to your pearls, you make me laugh when you mentioned you glass of wine!!!

knackofmix The second picture is the best in terms of exposure. It is hard to get the proper balance when you have white on black. Have you tried a cream background? It would probably bring out the inherent shines in the pearls rather than “competing” with them Another background that works well is turquoise. Think Tiffany: there is a reason why they choose that color for their signature packaging.a classic is of course deep royal blue.…

knackofmix I now use my cell phone camera but I used to be an excellent photographer before digital came...into the picture....!! I am old and I never really adjusted to the new technology… now I understand my mother when she had a hard time with VCRs! Back to you: maybe two glasses of wine will do the job 😜Have a good night|
