Snap closure on Interior of the flap.Interior has 2 larger spaces, two envelope style pockets, a zippered pocket and a card pocket. And yes, there's lots of room for your cellphone. Measures 10" long x 5 1/2" high and 3" at the bottom tapering to 1 1/2" at the top.
