Geoffrey Beene "The Beene Bag" Skirt

American fashion designer, Beene was one of New York's most famous fashion designers and made a limited number of "The Beene Bag" skirts – described as simple, comfortable and dressy at the time, I most wore it casually, though back in the day I did wear it with a tuxedo shirt to the symphony once. Fun and easy to wear all year round. One size with draw string waist. The material has a nice weight to it, wrinkle resistant, I believe it's a cotton blend but no tag saying what the material is. Bought it at Holt Renfrew in Edmonton in the early '90s.
