@jadyd Jady you are as beautiful inside as you are out! And keep on fighting my friend...I know you have bad days and those you just grit your teeth and carry on (even though you would rather not sometimes) you are so strong!! I'm battling multiple myeloma and it's a beach let me tell ya...thank god for posh because it helps pay my huge medical bills...keep battling luv! I'm there with you!

@jadyd People don't understand illness like we have because it doesn't show (I've kept my hair although it's thinned out a LOT & falls out in gobs when I wash it😓) people will say "but you look good"!!!and part of me wants to put them in my body on Sat mornings when I inject myself in the stomach and the chemo starts to do its thing...the bad days are BAD...I just keep myself going thinking " get through get through get through" (it's my mantra,I whisper it to myself when feeling the worst)

@jadyd I was bitten on block island and I have tertiary stage Lyme that has remained in remission for some time (it's the only good thing radiation and chemo have accomplished 😂) I'm sorry you have to go through this sh!t but you are a warrior princess, and a hero in my eyes.

@mcjayne Yeah I tell myself similar things in treatment. I'm glad, but also deeply saddened that anyone understands. I went away to camp every year til' I was 15. I also lived in Long Island for 2 years where there was a flea outbreak. There are studies that Lyme can be spread by other bugs. But I remember coming home from camp with a bullseye on my thigh. It went away that next morning so we didn't go to the doctor. We didn't even know about Lyme. That's probably when I got it.

@mcjayne I hate "invisible" illnesses. People think they're complimenting you when they say "but you look fine",but instead they're undermining the illness. Cancer doesn't discriminate and is heavy in my family. I don't know first hand, but so many close relatives have had it--- it's hard(underline,underline,underlined). But my Grandma survived and so did my other friend given a death sentence. You WILL make it, and so will I. Best Wishes Superstar, 😊✌🏾️♥️ JD

@jadyd I bet that's where you got it!!! I was pregnant at the time I got bitten (and I'm sure you know how many deer ticks are on block island (more deer than peeps there lol it it's still my fave place on earth) and the bullseye was on my thigh too...I only used natural organic bug spray because of being pregnant and obviously it didn't work...I'm so sorry you have to struggle with this...just know you have. A friend in the mountains in Utah that is thinking & praying for you. I mean that.😍

@jadyd you just made me tear up...thank you so so much for that...stories of survivors who make it despite all the odds keep me going...seriously...you get so much negative-you know how it is...and I HATE when people say " but you look good" so...let me get this straight...my body is dying and being administered toxins and I puke and poo (sorry tmi I know) from Saturday's through Tuesday's but damn if I look good then I have nothing to worry about right? That's what I WANT to say but I don't.
