Gia Borghini x RHW green stretch eco-leather Rosie 7 mid-calf boots, EU40, new

Gia Borghini is an Italian luxury design house established by entrepreneur/designer Barbara Borghini in 2016, and their approach from the start has been to offer a collaborative platform for other female entrepreneurs in the high fashion arena. If this wasn't already enough reason to fall in love with the company, their hand-made shoes and boots are exquisitely beautiful, minimalist, and elegant creations. This particular ankle boot, the Rosie 7, is the result of an ongoing collaboration with supermodel and entrepreneur, Rosie Huntington-Whitely. Everything about the design brings me joy, from the proportions to the sculptured conical heel to the tone on tone all-over color to the matte finish. These boots are the color of new leaves in the spring, and that color makes me happy. The uppers are composed of a stretchy, rubbery, matte-finished eco-leather, and the inside of the boots is 100% lined in gorgeous soft leather. They fit my size 9.5 feet perfectly with fairly thin socks - my toes were close to the end, so I don't think they would work for a size 10 unless your feet are quite narrow. They should work for a size 9 foot, however. Missing the original box and dustbag. Note close-up of base of the heel where it's attached to the shoe - on both shoes, there's a tiny crack just at the attachment point. This may be a production issue, as I've zoomed in on many product photos of this design; at least 50% show the same flaw. Not at all visible while wearing.
