“Girlfriends”- Primitive hooked mat made with 100% wool strips

This mat has been hand made by folk art artist in Nova Scotia. She has been hooking for over 25 years but this is the very first piece of art she’s sold. Her other works have been given as gifts or hung on the wall of her 200 year old house. This pattern is hand drawn and each wool strip was hand cut. This is a primitive piece of art and an original. There is not another one like it. The piece is called “Girlfriends”
