The Glasbake line was a kitchenware issue. McKee introduced "Glasbake Ware" in 1917, then in 1951, it became "Glasbake," by the McKee Division of Thatcher Glass Corporation and was continued until 1961. McKee was slow to automate hence much of the glassware made through the Depression Era was produced by hand.
