vortex888 Sorry, but are you sure about the chest measurement ? According to the Gloverall website children's size guide this should have a 40" chest (so 20" across the front from underarm to underarm). Could you also provide the sleeve and hem lengths ? Thanks.

cosmic8vibes @vortex888 hello, I checked the website as well, it asks that the pit measurements be doubled, but that would only put mine at 33 inches. I measured it laying flat and buttoned up. I also measured the full length at 37 inches, and a 20 inch sleeve. I hope that helps 😊.

vortex888 Thanks. It suggests this coat has significantly shrunk perhaps through washing in a machine ? Either that or it was improperly sized originally. That's unfortunate :(

cosmic8vibes @vortex888 not sure, the sleeves are the correct size and the length is a bit longer than the website measurement’s.

vortex888 The only other possibility is perhaps the coat was significantly altered and the chest taken in. I don't suppose you can tell if there have been alterations as it is lined. May I ask the waist measurement across ? In Gloverall children's coats the waist is typically almost the same width as the chest.
