A starkly beautiful textured glass vintage cylinder vase that resembles melting ice or tree bark. This texture extends to the base, giving it an attractively scalloped bottom edge. The pattern interacts wonderfully with changes in the light and is slightly iridescent, is pleasing to the touch and is satisfyingly weighty. This unusual brutalist design was conceived and made by Goebel Charlottenhütte in West Germany.
