Golden Goose Black suede Hana platform sandals, EU40, NWT

Golden Goose is mostly known for their sneaker & biker-style boots, but they also produce absolutely beautiful women's dressy pumps and sandals. When I bought this pair, I already owned a couple of pairs of sneakers (yes, they really are worth the price) and a couple pairs of boots (also phenomenal). This gorgeous pair of sandals is finished in a velvety black suede with a burgundy leather accent on the platform. I absolutely adore the design of the straps, and they look so beautiful on the foot. The quality is impeccable as one would expect from this Italian Luxury brand. The matte gold-colored leather soles also feature a metal toe tap - the left tap is not quite flush with the sole, which is why the rear view photo looks a bit wonky. I don't think this would be a problem when wearing, though, as the entire point of toe taps is to protect the toes from excessive wear and prolong the life of the shoe. It could easily be sanded down if it was an issue. This is a perfect shoe for all those holiday formal events coming up. Whether you wear with a long gown or a short sassy cocktail dress, this pair is guaranteed to turn heads. Size EU40, this is a snug and secure fit on my size 9.5 feet, but they do fit a bit narrow on me. It's gorgeous quality leather, though, so I imagine it would stretch with wear. I've never worn these, only tried on, so they are in pristine condition. Heel height = 5.5", with a platform height of 1.25".
