new_bohemian Yup I need your books I would Never have pegged this as turquoise?? Please tell me you are using google pics as reference guide, or grew up around this, or went to school for geology etc.. Because, lmao..if an app is telling you all this I will feel so foolish hee hee, but also I will have learnt something else knew today🫶

I grew up around it and went to school for geology and am currently working on my appraiser's license <3 I also worked as an appraiser for a chain for a few years. google reverse images does help me a ton though, I've been able to narrow down possible mine locations sometimes based on patterning--turquoise is especially specific for that, almost every mine globally has a distinct look that's documented!
