Vintage SCHJELDE WOVEN RIBBON JACKET Early Schjeld Design 1960's

This is a gorgeous, elaborately woven blazer/jacket, timeless in design and with a contemporary look despite being well over 50 years old. It predates Schjeld's later specialization in fur coats. The skill of combining woven fabric, ruffled ribbons, straight ribbons, strips of suede, and both gold and cotton threads is a testament to the craftsmanship and quality of work from the 1960's. Fully lined, very feminine, and so unique. Excellent condition, no rips or stains or damage.
