Gorgeous Vintage 1960's Wool Coat with Fur Collar and Cuffs

This wonderful coat is in amazing vintage condition. The Wool shell and satin lining are in amazing condition. The tags indicte the coat was constructed Union Made in Canada with worsted wool fabric which was made in England. Amazing buttons on this girl too. The colour is a gorgeous burgundy red so really on point for fall winter 2024. The fur collar and cuffs are in beautiful condition. There is no tag as to what type of fur this is but I can say it is not mink and it is not rabbit. Based on the luxurious soft feel, the fluffy undercoat and the longer lustrous tophairs I believe this to be muskrat fur. The collar and cuffs are stitched on with fairly big stitching as they are intended to be removed for dry cleaning. It would not be difficult to remove the fur if you do not like to wear fur. The union label inside this garment was in use between about 1959 to 1963 so this coat would be from the early 1960's. The lay flat measurements are as follows: pit to pit 22 inches length 42 inches sleeve length 23 inches shoulder to shoulder is 17 inches This will fit a medium to large based on the measurements.
