Gorgeous Vtg. Embroidered CUTWORK LINEN TABLECLOTH + 10 MATCHING NAPKINS in Ecru

This large ecru colored tablecloth and 10 napkins typify the quality workmanship and materials found in vintage early and mid-20th century linens. The scalloped edges and elaborate cutwork patterns are rimmed with a grey/silver embroidery thread, and there are no tears or frayed areas. The linen is from Ireland, and it still feels “starchy” so it was probably not used much. The tablecloth measures 254 cm. (100 in.) x 160 cm. (63 in.) and weighs over 1 kg. (2 lb.). The napkins each measure 40 cm. (16 in.) square and are in new-like condition. There are a few minor spots on the tablecloth which may easily wash out – these are shown highlighted in the center of photos 8 through 12 and it is obvious that the marks are not large or very noticeable. Photo 13 - 15 is an attempt to show the ecru and embroidery color on both tablecloth and napkins, compared to a pure white fabric. Smoke-free pet-free home.
